BILL KNIRCK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The Bill Knirck Memorial Scholarship selections were announced on Tuesday at the Senior Awards cereemony. They are Kara Berlin, Jeff Grindel, McKenzie Snow and Kyle Wagar. Congratulations to them and their families.
HHS STUDENT ATHLETES COMPETING AT THE NEXT LEVEL
Three football players -- Ryan Craig (Montana State-Northern), Kyle Wagar (Central Washington) and Kody Winsor (Southern Virginia) -- along with golfer Josh Harvey (Cal State Fullerton), soccer players Catherine Savitch (Southern Oregon) and Matthew Smith (Clarke College, Iowa), tennis standout Jake Knox (University of Idaho), and swimmers Jeff Grindel (Illinois Institute of Technology) and Joe Wertz (Seattle University) have all committed to play at the next level.
Also, a pair of girls basketball players headed to D-III schools -- Haley Tank (Pacific in Forest Grove, Ore.) and PJ Wilson (Linfield) -- along with CC signees Jorie Freeman (CBC women's hoops) and softball player Jessica Albertson (College of Southern Idaho) will also be playing collegiately.
